Hi, looking for some advice on if I can use Seacast in only the motor mounted area of this transom (have pictures). At the moment the transom is solid It got water in it over the last few years from two failing splash well drain holes. Quite a bit of water got in. I'm trying to dry as much as I can. Not sure how long it will take to rot, but im wondering if I can Seacast the 50"x20" center area where the motor mounts, and leave the two side curved area's? The wood is not very rotten yet (very little at the top), im sure it will rot from the bottom up. So im not sure how hard its going to be to get the wood off of the fiberglass with it not being rotten at the top. Seacast just seemed like the easiest option, but not sure if it is viable?
