seahorse 4 prop

Hey I did not have any luck at the prop forum, so I thought I would try again I have a 1974 (4r74r) 4hp johnson. the other day i broke a blade on the prop it uses a 3 part (prop rubber damper hub) plastic prop. I think it is desined to slip in weeds or if the blades hit somthing. Is there anyone who sells these aftermarket? if so do they make a steel or aluminum replacment?

it looks like the oem prop is all that is available, and i can tell if it comes as a kit or have to buy individual parts. where it says evinrude, get the drop down menu and go to johnson. http://shop2.evinrude.com/ext/index.aspx?s1=bf6ad09c53cead335fcfd8a6471c0f7f

I just bought one a couple of months ago. Its an aluminum, 3 blade and it comes as a prop only. Since your current prop is plastic, I don't know how it is set up in terms of a hub. You may have to buy a hub and rubber insert separately. You will be given the parts separately and you will have to onstall the hub & rubber insert but that's an easy task that can be done by hand.

BTW, this prop is obsolete but you local OMC/BRP dealer might be able to find one, as mine did.
