Sealer?

I have a 1995 175 evinrude intruder i have the carbs off of it right now. On the bottom of the float bowls there is a little brass plug on the side of the bowl. Anyone have any suggestion on what to use to seal those up?

The plugs that cover the high speed orifices? I think you'll find they should have O ring seals. Take a looks at the parts list

Good idea to seal those. That's what weeps fuel and can make a real mess.

Once that area is clean and dry - especially dry - we use a 2 part exoxy. Makes a real neat looking seal and does a good job.
