If you use the vinylester you still have to use CSM Bruce is correct about the CCA Treated plywood it's a bit pricey when you have to pay shipping costs nevertheless owned a "toon" do not sure about wigs mfgs do but imho regular ext grade needs the edges sealed for sure as well as any holes drilled into it I don't subscribe to the breathing plywood theory but I AM an Old Dumb Okie so ya can't take my word for it
