This boat was made 1998, 99, 2000 & 2001. I'm looking at a few available used; all with Single 7.4 IO w/Bravo III. It is a 27+ ft express w/ 9.2 ft beam. Any idea on the handling, particularly @ idle in tight marinas? Boat was available w/twins, but dealers say few if any were sold that way. It is out of production as of last season, so a demo ride is tough without pretty much committing to a purchase Any advice/experiences welcomed.

Hmmm! This dealer must have customers coming out of his ears. You're the customer!!!

I say-no demo. No think about buying it.

Make sure you let him know what you DID buy.

That's a big boat for a single. There's enough ponies though. It should handle well around docks, etc. with the twin prop set up.

Thanks. Unfortunately, the three boats I've found so far are private sellers, and in one case a broker. Plus, I am up north so everything is winterized for the next couple of months. Anything I buy will be contingent on a demo and survey. But before I get to that point, I'd like to know how folks who have run this or a similar boat with a single Bravo III OD feel about the handling.
