Yup, here I go racking up countlees posts on dumb stuff, Oh well!
Have you all ever tried dogpile.com? I found this meta-search engine a few years ago and really like it. It will list the top 10 returns from other search engines such as alta vista, yahoo, google, ask jeeves etc...
Try it you'll like it.
THIS IS NOT, NOT, NOT A SALES PITCH, JUST A SITE I LIKE TO USE!!!

Re: Search engines

Dogpile is the main search engine I use. It seems to give you more results.

Re: Search engines

does dog-pile search only meta tags on sites?... or do they allow people to pay them like google does toget the high ranking?

might start using that along with my google searches when I can't find what I need.

Re: Search engines

Dogpile is my favorite and the one I use 98% of the time. I uaully find what I need and go to other engines if I need. I don't think they let people pay to get their top, but the other engines it searches do and it may put a particular search engine at the top.

Only thing is to not type it in wrong, There was a site that would download a virus in the background last year that was one letter off. I am sure it is shut down, but always use up to date virus protection.
