on the tag there is Model # 60920 then under it 09650568B although Ive read this is the engine tag. I cant find the serial number. I need the fuel connector that hooks to the outboard from the fuel line. Where would I find part or info for this ? The 1st picture is the item I need, others are just of the motor to help find out if it's the 1968 or not. Thank You any help is very much appreciated

If that connector is bad and can't be repaired, and if you're trying to restore this motor keeping it "all original", then my guess is that you might have some trouble finding that exact part. Otherwise you can buy a fuel line connector most anywhere and install it, or eliminate the connecter entirely with just a section of fuel hose, barbs and some clamps. You might luck up and find somebody with an old motor like yours who would sell you that part, but it's going to be 42 years old also! Good Luck!

You need to know that both Eska & Clinton built 3.5 horse outboards for Sears that looked VERY similar in that era. I suspect the model # you provided is that of either a Clinton built Sears or a Canadian Simpson-Sears model. If you have an Eska built Sears for the US market the model # should include 217 as a prefix.

Clinton still maintains a parts department to help keep their products running. I suggest you call 563-652-2411 with model # in hand and ask them if it's a Clinton model #. I understand that the phone is only answered part time so you may need to leave your phone # or try numerous times.

Your fuel connector looks nothing like the one that came on my '67 Eska/Sears 3.5 horse, model # 217-59501. But then I don't KNOW that mine is original. Do you KNOW that yours is? Your simplest fix would be to buy a matched set of Chrysler connectors.

Re: Sears 3.5 need fuel connector

hi, I just bought a 72 7.5 hp teddy ballgame put out by sears. it is also missing the female plug that goes to the ball to the tank. I was thinking of just running the fuel line off the carb into the ball. So what is the harm any? does the ball system provide anything ( like flow restriction) or is it mearly a conveniance of being able to disconnect the line from the tank?
thanks!

just hook the tank line directly to the carb nipple
