Reworking a 1972 Sears/Appleby 14 foot fiberglass tri-hull boat. Looking for others that may have one to compare info with. Missouri magazine said the boat new should way about 318 pounds. I am trying to get some feel for what is the right weight. The fiberglass floor has been redone with a sheet of plywood and I know its weight and I can see how the stringers and a thin sheet of plywood used to exist to apply the glass over(original wood and stringers rotted away) I am new to boat ownership and extremely safety conscious as my wife and daughter will be the primary passengers. Thanks, this is a great forum.

Post some pictures of your boat and some others may have similar setups and can help. You stated that there was rotted wood in it. Did you remove all that rotted wood? We really need pictures of it to asses what you have... :thumb:
