Sears Gamefisher 1.2 HP What year is it?

I have a Sears 1.2 HP Gamefisher model 298-586130.
Can anyone tell me what year it is?

I cannot tell you what year it is, but, I can tell you it is a Tanaka motor. Find the Tanaka power equipment site. You can download the parts manual and it appears that parts are readily available as the motor has not changed in years. It also appears that the service manual is available from Tanaka as well. I understand these are good little motors.
