Hurricane Sandy ended our boating season here in NJ. Normally we would be Striper fishing, and the weather has been great.

However, Sandy damaged houses and it it much more important to make repairs, ahead of winter, then catch a few fish.

The snowmobiles have been on the lake since October.
You guys that live in the banana belt have no idea of what a short season is.

I'm hoping to get the boat IN for some fishing next week! Cold weather and snow coming this weekend though might change those plans...
