What does the hull plate say? Normally the hull plate will tell you what the certified capacity of the boat is.

Cannot find the hull plate. Where is it at?

All of my plates have been on the right hand side of the transom up towards the top of the transom...I am not familiar with your particular model, but it seems to me, this is suppose to be a pretty standard location...

I do not see the hull plate there. One would think that it would not be hard to find.

Well it may have fallen off, I have seen that happens,

You might look through the Restoration threads, there have been formulas posted about boat capacities in the last couple of months..

The capacity plate can be anywhere it can be readily seen from the helm.

How long is the boat? If it is 20' or longer, it wasn't required to have a capacity plate.

Opps, forgot about the 20' deal...

So disregard my posts if your boat is over 20'

Sorry..

Well, a lot can happen in 31 years, so I'm not surprised the placard is missing. While there is a formula that can be used to determine passenger capacity, it is only supposed to be used for homebuilt boats. Fortunately, Sea Ray is still around, so check with their customer service department. There is also a Sea Ray subforum here at iboats.
