Seawater pump

My boat is 500 miles away in storage so I can't look for myself. I want to know if the seawater pump is attached to the block or is in the Alpha One drive unit?

Ayuh,... Alpha's have the raw water pump in the drive's lower unit...

When you bought your service manual for your engine, did you get a drive manual too? If not, here is a link to download it for free.

Thanks for the manual. I did not get one with the engine manual. Are you telling me that I have an Alpha I Gen II? How is that determined?

Every Alpha drive manufactured since 1991 is a Gen II.
