Securing seats

Can somebody suggest a way to secure my seats to the deck? kinda boggled by this one. Any help is appreciated. Thanks! :D

The coolest way I have seen to do it, and the way I intend to do it if I ever get that far...T nuts! Pound the T nut into the ply under the seat after marking it. Man I wish I could remember the guy who did his that way and it was slick! No way for rot to get a foot hold. Help me out guys. Who was that?

Don't know what type of seats or anything about your boat. On my back to back seats I glassed the boxes to the deck. No screw holes, no opportunity for water to satruate the deck.

And all this time I thought super glue and duck tape fixed anything.. but in this case..I'd throw in a couple of thumb tacks just to be on the safe side m8..... ;)

We need to know what kind of seats. General answer is to glass in a sufficient mounting platform (2' x 2' x 3/4" ply) and attach the pedestal or what have you to that.

I have 2 Lounge back to back seats and 2 "jump" seats plastic bases on both.
