Seeking information on this Hiawatha motor. It states on the outside Shift Master 300

Hello, My husband was just given this Hiawatha Shift Master 300. The model # on it is 65-OM3-258005A it is a 4200 RPM. What I would like to know is how old it is and where part can be obtained? When it is working what is the possible sale price for this?

I think you have a 1956, 30 horsepower, made by Scott-Atwater. Does that sound about right?

It would be a fairly rare motor, but not necessarily valuable---unless a Hiawatha collector is interested in filling out his collection. It would be unfair of us to try to put a price on it. Peter Hunn's "The Old Outboard Book" lists the 1956 Scott-Atwater 30hp at $10 to $150, depending on condition.
