seep hole water

When I shut off my 50hp johnson water comes out the seep hole which I understand is correct but I also have water coming out (in a couple of places) between my gearcase and exhaust housing. Shoud there be a gasket or is this normal? thanks for any help

Bumping and piggy backing. I have the same thing going on, but very strong stream from the tell tale. Mine is a 1997 Johnson V4 130.

Yes I have a strong stream also, so I guess its ok. I am going to keep running mine and see what happens thanks for reply

Hey day,

Spoke with my mechanic today about our issue. He said it's normal so long as there is a strong stream at the tell tale. Happy boating!
