Seized Drive Shaft

I have a 1967 Johnson 100hp where the drive shaft splines have siezed in the crankcase. Is there any way to unseize it? thanks.

Yes, but this can be very tricky...... Is this motor on a stand or is it hanging off the back of a boat? Has the gearcase separated from the midsection at all? Even a tiny bit?

How many nuts / bolts have been removed ?
