Selector Switch for 1970 Evinrude

I have a 1970 60hp Evinrude. I have determined that the Selector Switch is toast. I got a 3 position switch from Radio Shack and now I get drive and neutral BUT no reverse. Any easy fix since the part is no longer made and I am having a hard time finding a used one. The part # is 0279090 or 0279458 if this helps.<br /><br />Thanks

To get reverse you must supply 12 volts to BOTH the blue and green wire. You may want to follow trikrtret's post about the 5 wire switch. <br /><br />Good luck!
