Look around late this fall and winter, boat prices will drop after boating season (especially around Christmas)... but will pick back up after some time after the first of the year when spring gets closer.

An old time boater told his son, a friend of mine, "the monkey doesn't let go of one branch until he has his hands on the next branch."

Don't sell your boat until you have the replacement; it may be longer than you think before you get in one!

(Occurs to me the same advice would work with girlfriends; wish I knew then what I know now!)

What's that old adage about boats? Something about the joy of owning a boat is the day you buy it and the day you sell it  :p

My first boat was a joy to get rid of, it was a sad day when I sold my second one.:(

Walking into boat dealership looking for a new boat is kinda walking into a room full of beautiful women and picking out the one you like the best and saying "You're coming home with me!":D

Re: selling boat tomorrow :(

just came in from the Test run with the owner... He bought it onsite... But did not want the fish finder i had on the boat. said it was to much for him.. So he gave me the cash for the boat and i have to drop it off with him after i removed my humminbird 597 Hd di Setup... It is my first boat and I am sad to see it go.. It has been nothing but bitter sweet for me, Never let me down, never lefted me stranded... But theres a time when you want more.. And nows that time... So this time next season i hope to be sitting on a 21 22 foot center console with a small head in the console and a ttop... and hopefully a 4 stroke outboard with a min 200 hp...

Thanks again everyone

Funny, I like to call that "Friday".

All joking aside, good luck on the sale and new purchase. The hunt is half the fun.

Very appropriate - women are typically like boats: the rigging generally costs more than the hull.
