Seloc manuals are known for being better kneepads than manuals. You definitely want an OEM manual, and you can get one at a few different places. You can always purchase one, or view the electronic version over at boatinfo dot com.
All the OEM Merc manuals are there, but I'm not familiar with the numbering scheme so you can either browse through them and find the one for your 3.0, or wait until someone here chimes in with the correct manual number.
