Selva 9.9 manual start gear oil problem

Hi all,

I bought a selva 9.9 as a spare to my selva 15, but it seems to good to be stripped for spares so i have decided to use it and get it up and running.

i came to change the gear oil and after i took the upper and lower plug out i cant get the lower plug back in.

it seems as though something is in the way!

does anyone have an idea of what can be stopping the plug going back in?

any chance you have the upper and lower switched around?

Hi, i have sorted it now,

on the lower plug there is a bar (i thinks its a magnet) and that has to fit through a hole in the rod.

when i looked at it in better light i saw the hole where the bar was suppose to go and put it back together.
