Re: Senior moment?

I used to manage a restaurant.........Went into work one day on my day off to do inventory. After a couple of hours I was almost done so I went out to start the car so it would be warm for the ride home, plus my dog who was in the car was probably starting to get cold. (cold canadian winter). Before I could finish someone called in sick, so I spent a few minutes on the phone trying to get someone else to come in and cover the shift before I finally resigned to work it myself. A good 4-5 hours later I step outside for a quick smoke, and discover the car is still running, and the dogs tongue is long enough to trip over. Luckily I had a full tank a gas at the time (I said had).

If anything like that ever happened to me I don't remember and wouldn't tell, unless I forgot not to; I think, except for when I forget to think.

I once went to my truck to find the battery dead at 5:00pm.Proceeded to jump start it with another car and left it running so the battery would charge.Well the next morning at 8:00am I found it purring happily away.During the course of the night it had burned 3/4 of a tank.Luckily the engine wasn't one to overheat.

I think we all suffer from "CRAFT" ocassionally, but for some reason it seems to be more frequent lately.

(Can't Remember A Flaming Thing)

The nice thing about reaching this stage in life is you can hide your own Easter Eggs and you meet new people everyday.
