Hello all.
I am suspecting my sensor coil is playing up on a 1990 evinrude 90hp V4. took the plug apart and tested the 5 needles which all but one gave a reading of 15 OHMs (believe it should be around 40OHMs). This seems a little low to me, IS IT???? and if so what should it be?
If it is too low i take its a new one, can you change just the sensor coil or will it be a new timing base? Would the sensor coil cause the engine to run a little rough mainly while in gear??
Help is always appreciated from all you experinced guys.
