Serial number? 70 hp

I was told when I bought this rig I was told motor was a 1994 but looks more like 95. Tilt ***. looks more like a 95 unit according to manual. Little tag on lower unit leg not readable. Where else can I find serial number on this motor? Forgot to state motor is a 70 hp Force.

SHould be a tag on the starboard side of the transom bracket. Thats it.

On mine, there were factory applied white paper stickers on some of the components, which had the serial number. There was one on the starter, and one on the flywheel.

Your serial number should be between OE070000 and OE138599

The only no. I can find is on the port side of the tilt braket and it reads 1400-819128 This could drive a person nuts.
