Wards Sea King 9hp Model# VWB27909A
Evinrude 18 hp Fasttwin Model# 15020
Can anybody tell me what year models I'm dealing with on these two motors and is there a ready source for overhaul parts on these two older outboards. If anyone has experience on working with these motors I would appreciate anything you have share. Thanks

I don't know what year your SeaKing is but, it was made after 1965. You might want to check out a NAPA store. They have some parts for Chryslers.

Hi Shadetree
Your SeaKing was made by Chrysler Between 1965-67. I am sorry I can't nail it down any closer than that. My book shows three models were produced during this span, VWB19077A,VWB19078A and VWB27909. It lists VWB27909B as a 1968. Yours may have been a 1967, I don,t know. Also it is a 9.2hp. This may be important because over the years Chrysler made 9.2,9.6,9.9 and 10hp engines. I don't know of a ready parts source.
