Does someone have an Serial number list for Mercury outboard ???? <br /><br />I have an outboard i was told it was a 9.8 hp, I looked on the Grubbs marine site and the serial number 1983615 shows it as a 1966 But when I call the dealer or look on the BAM site it doesn'tshow that serial number for a 1966 9.8 But on the grubbs site and My Seloc book it shows a 9.8 in that serial number range???<br /><br />Can some one advise???
