I am looking at a Yamaha, that is for sale... I have learned to run the serial numbers through the local county sherrif's department to "make sure" it isn't stolen or somthing. <br /><br />Anyway the motor that I am looking at has some damage around the area that the serial number is located. Is there another place that I can check (or have checked) to see what the serial number is. The local FFWC said that was the only location. <br /><br />Thanks <br />Jim622
