Re: Serial number ??
I removed my circa 1988 Alpha One outdrive just recently and would like to buy some parts to freshen it up. I can't find a serial number on the unit itself and all the retailers ask for the serial number. Can anyone tell me where to find serial number? I have paper that says serial # is OC363861, does that sound like a good number? I'm also a little concerned that since 1988 drive might have been changed so what i have on paper may not be applicable and I'm a recent new owner.

And engine serial number: 0B964859 Belongs to Model number: 4350100AS, 1988 MERCRUISER MAGNUM W/ PS 350 ALPHA engine.
Engine No: 0B964859 was registered with your drive serial number 0C363861 in a Cobalt.
