I helped with scouts and if it counts i was president of our little league organization about 10 years ago.

i live with a social worker, who works with the mentally ill. my contribution is a sounding board. you would not believe the stories.

My wifes brothers sister-in-law was related to a very consciencous animal control officer.

Various volunteer public safety related here but no actual service related. That is unless your mind might change when your boat starts to go down and the little rescue boat with lights comes to help out.

Bob, did you see the aftermath from the weather rarity up here - a tornado? It went right through Barnstead and created an abundance of firewood for the locals.:redface: Sorry for the hijack.
