I know this is probably a worn out topic, so sorry in advance.
I've read every post on the different ways to download the manual and have tried every way w/ no success. Does anyone have a file on hand of this? Or any info about if the download method has changed?

Thanks,
Jeremy

Same deal as before. Yeah it opens and you can access the title/outline page but once you go to any of the others is says:

Could not open the file '1a.pdf', etc., etc.

Thanks

Yeah I just got the 7 index pages and nothing more.

It looks like Mercury is changing the links.

Someone here downloaded all of them previously. Maybe they'll pop up and point you to where they have them saved.

Merc is changing things daily to prevent downloading by other than dealers.
As far as others downloading the manuals, yes, many have. But you just don't send a 1 GB email to someone. It just won't work. Too slow and most ISP's would stop it before it got uploaded, let alone downloaded by email.

Thanks Don, I realize a file of that size can't be e-mailed. I should have worded differently. I noticed some people gave links to spots on file share sites for some other manuals, that is the sort of thing i guess i'm after.

Thanks for the help folks.

Just found out one thing. After opening the link as stated in the manuals link, clicking on the sections works when using IE7, but not with Firefox

I had been trying to download it all along at my office computer. I assumed it would be the same on my laptop at home but just tried it and got it to work. Thanks for your help

Any CD will accept around 700 MB. Manual #6 with all it's parts is around 20 MB.

Yeah, it's definitely a hijack......(I don't ever use that word where I work!!)

go to Office Depot, Best buy, BX/PX, WalMart etc and buy yourself a box of CDR or equiv record-able CD's. Or use a USB "stick" They work great.
