Hi
Well im on the hunt for an OEM Mercury service manual for my 1979 Merc 800 4 cylinder. Ive gone to a Mercury dealer and they said it would be hard to come across if I could even find one. Any help on where to get one or a lead would be greatly appreciated.
Im not looking for a seloc.
Thanks
Cheers

Re: Service Manual?

IDK why they told you that, they are easily available on Ebay ar through Amazon. My Merc deasler offered to order me one in, but Merc wants $80 for what I bought off Ebay for $35. Which, incidentally, is what I paid for a SeCRAP manual from here on iboats before I figured out that was exactly what it was: crap. Just look up your Merc manual # then type in Ebay, I will guarantee you it is available there.

Part number for the manual you need is 90-861344. And they can be order through any Merc dealer, but will cost you about $80-$85. Any dealer tells you they can't be found, find another dealer! He's BSing you....

EBAY is the way to go. I found my Mariner manual there for $25.00 and free shipping.
