SET YOUR HOOK and DUCK

Heres one for you guys not do... This is typical for me to do.. I am so sick and tired of losing fish that I can't quite hook.. So I decided to give a little extra yake... Well I should of weaved to left or right, becuase I ducked instead and I caught a Fish right in the face... Thank God it was small perch, anything bigger would did some damage. When I set a hook, I do it right...right in the face..

I hate to say it but I do that one all the time, while fly fishing for bass... you get a little perch or even smaller bass go for it just as you goto cast and you better duck

I have done this with a blue fish at cresent beach yanked it to get it up to the bridge and smacked myself in the head with it and almost fell into traffic lol

I was fishing for trout in a wee tiny stream and was not thinking when I set said hook. Tiny little fish got stuck in the tree thirty feet behind and twenty feet high!

especially with a plastic worm in shallow water...I've sent 'em flyin' over my shoulder, too. Never caught one in the face though. LOL

I would of felt better if I had someone with me and I nailed them instead... I did however manage to hook a guy walking behind me at Lewiston one year. I did the back, up-over-head and flip shot.. Hooked him good, right in the collar, just missed his ear... The bad news was he was an off duty game warden. It was his day off and thought he would get some fishing in.. Boy, did I pack quickly and move on..
