I am having HELL with a 2004 115 merc 4 stroke ,,, it has been getting worse ,, hard to start like the starter is dragging ,, changed battery ,, did not help ,,, check cables ,,, nope ,,, well I thought starter was bad ,,,, NOPE ..
it sometimes pops when it does not start ,,, but when it starts it runs great ...
it sounds like a timing issue ,, it is a EFI 4 stroke ...
how do you set/check timing on this motor ??
