We got the old Bass Buggy on the water again yesterday and checked out all of the things we have added to it since we bought it. I checked out the anchor winch that makes a lot of rumbling noises both lifting and running the anchor down. The old auto pilot trolling motor works pretty good, although I don't know why they call it auto pilot. If you don't watch it, it wants to spin around in circles. So you have to keep your foot on the foot pedal all of the time. The wife got sick to her stomach and made a lot of use of the luggable loo and the new bench seating until she felt better. I did some damage to the prop on the way in- old strip mines change depth very quickly. The side guides on the trailer helped but we really need something a lot higher to keep the stern straight on the trailer when loading on. I figured out I need to mount the bow hook on the front instead of underneath so I don't have to wade to hook up the winch strap. Still we are having the time of our lives.
