I was just wondering if shallow water anchors work well. Are they worth the money? I have read some people are making their own which is something I may do.
Just a few weeks ago I bought one from this site. Really nice quality and the price is far better than I saw elsewhere. They also have several different styles (1pc, 2pc) and some cool accessories for them. I am really happy with it. Of course, I haven't actually used it yet so I can't comment on how well it works. Most people seem to use two because you're using these when your anchored near other boats and don't want your boat moving around smacking into other boats. If I'm not near other boats, I'd just use the two regular anchors we have on board.
