Is it the super polite and carefully chosen flight attendants?

Not one of them over 30, I got slippers and a bottle of water waiting at my seat when you board, a "nice" pillow and blanket, individual TV screen with a remote in the armrest, all the latest movies on demand,interactive games, TV shows, news, sports etc. Really good food and all the drinks you want all free of charge.
Nothing was too much trouble and they were all very polite.
This was by the way in a regular coach seat.

I flew from Taipei (via Narita Japan)to Washington DC on Malaysia Airlines. Free upgrade from business to 1st class just because it was my birthday. Lay flat seats, what looked to be 21" LCD TV, excellent food, pajamas with slippers, a birthday card signed by all the flight crew with a bottle of Don Perignon, first off the plane, luggage first at the carousel, and all the free booze I could dump down my gullet. It was a wonderful flight and the stewardesses are beautiful. I fly United most of the time and believe me, there is no comparison of any sorts with Malaysian Airlines.
