Used to surf off Playalinda beach when I was younger. We used to try and grab the tails of the sand and nurse sharks while waiting for a wave. Sharkskin sure is hard on human skin.

And people wonder why I ain't dead yet

I never go in the ocean over 5 ft deep.Then i was reading one day that anyone thats been in the water over 3 ft deep has probably had a shark very close and not known it.From that point on knee deep is all i go.
too many things in the big water that thinks i'm food...

Best stay out of the water then. Sharks are in water right up to where the waves break on the beach.
