Shelf life of TC-W3 oil

Anyone know for sure how long this stuff is good....unopened?
Friend has gone 4-stroke and gave me 2 gallons of indeterminate age...less than 5 years old but more than 1.

Even if it has been opened oil will not break down. Just make sure it does not have any kind of contamination in it.
