Bass opener weekend, the Admiral dug this 5 pounder out from under a flooded dock while I was trying to get my trolling motor out of the chit in the picture.

2 biggest fish into the boat last year were on her string.

Aint that just the way it is.. Now you know why the captain gets paid more than the crew. The crew gets the perks. Nice fish and even better is that ear to ear grin. Sorta say's gotcha again honey!

ROFL....my wife was catching 14-15" bass while was catching 8-10" ones Sunday...and she had the biggest last year overall....5.6lbs while I was lucky to catch a 3 pounder. When she said to me "oh now that is a REAL nice one" to a 13" bass I finally caught (to make me "feel better"), all I could do is shake my head:facepalm:

To make matter worse, unknown to me she videod me catching and reeling in a 8" bass and I was less than happy as I was reeling it in.....and she was sure to show it to the WHOLE FAMILY....yes, they thought it was funny
