I have a hole in shift bellow and need to get it replaced. I have posted a form hear about it as well and found that it can be changed without taking off the out drive. has any one done this before?? guess you disconect from the block and pull through to the outdrive replace weed back through connect and good to go? Any cons or pros to this?Shop told me 500 to change bellow but i can get the part for 14 bucks. Dont have the money know for the 500 repair its either find somthing to make me last 3 more weeks or store for winter. What would you do?
I have heard 1000 times i should pay and have them all done but the other ones are new. So it doesnt make sense.
I also tryed to silicone the hole but the next moring touched it and it all came off on my finger clump of it like it came out. Is this bad silicone was almost a year old and already open but did have a cap on it. SHOULD I GET NEW SILCONE AGAIN AND TRY IT ANYONE THINK IT WILL WORK?
With drive down hole is closed and no water gets in trailer up and its comes in.
