Engine stalls when going in or out of gear especially when warm.
The shift interrupter switch is unhooked not sure why or how long its been that way , but the wires are just hanging no block or anyhing else that it properly attach?ss can be found. My question is which of these wires attach to the neg. coil & which to a ground? Thanks

I think you have other problems. First, the shift interrupt switch being activated by a stiff lower shift cable is what usually causes the engines to die when shifting. If you don't have a shift interrupt switch, then what is killing your engine?

Can you post a picture of the plate where both shift cables hook and the shift interrupt switch should be located?
