I occasionally have this come up where I have replaced a lower shift cable, test it (on the muffs), then later get reports that the boat is dying in the water once under a load coming in or out of forw/rev. I understand why it's dying on the water under load and not while on the trailer, but what I don't know is how to prevent someone having to bring it back to me because it is not adjusted properly and how to test it properly on the trailer before sending it out. I do not have a test tank.
