shift lever spring

hi everyone the shift lever spring on my 1959 10 horse evinrude was weak and the motor kept popping out of forward.i stretch the spring and it worked for a few weeks.but now it's popping out again.does anyone know the correct length of the spring or can i order one.thanks.
