my motor shifts fine but when control lever is straight up it is still in forward gear i have to click it back a hair in reverse to get into neutral is there an adjustment or something, also in forward i have to go about a quarter of the way to see any real rise whatsoever in rpms and then it all of a sudden kicks in, is this problem just a cable adjustment i have a manual but it doesn't say anything about it it is for a 87 super-six dt150 suzuki?? also what is wot for this motor??trying to find the right prop, have a 18ft stratos 179v i have a 21 pitch on there now and it gets about 4600 to 5000 rpm.

Re: shifter problem

adjust the cables at the engine first
