David it is going to be from a new 8 cylinder 5.7 GM powertrain Vortec, so it will be bran new. This Fri. we are going to do the replacment in Del. I live in PA so I won't have acess to the motor till then. If you want to but it that is cool. Maybe you have a cell phone# and you could talk me through the wiring?

I got the new motor installed and hooked up. I have 2 switches on the shift assembly the overstroke and the shift interupt I believe. I hooked power to the one side tied the other side to the other switch and hooked that up to the Dist. Is this the correct way?<br />Dennis
