the ole Ford Explorer is in need of shocks what would you all use? I use it to pull the boat so I am thinking something a little stouter in the back.

Re: Shocks

The Monroe Matic Plus will be a good all around truck/van shock absorber. Probably 20 to 25 dollars each.

Re: Shocks

I use the Monroe shocks also, my Son has the same truck I do, he put on a lesser shock and likes mine much better. (even said next time he will spend the extra $'s to get them!)

Thanks guys, I was leaning toward the monroe's anyway due to the price. But I had my doubts this way I'll have a little bit left over for the next boat fix :)

Re: Shocks

Dont make the mistake that many do and think that "SHOCKS" support any weight, they dont. They only dampen.

Bilsteins are the best, but you will pay for them.
