I have a 320 sun runner. When I connect the shorepower in my driveway it doesn't work, only the DC from the batteries. My boat is equipped with a genset which was dealer installed, to select the generator, it is a seperate switch not located on the breaker panel and it works. How do I get shore power???

Re: shore power

Should have a 3 position power transfer switch.(gen-off-shore) Switch it to shorepower turn your main breakers on then turnon shore 1&2 breakers. If that doesnt work its wired wrong or your recepticle is not hot. Minimum 30amp breaker... You may have tripped a gfci..

Re: shore power

Thanks for the info. It is only a two postion switch - shore power and DC. The Genset is switched separately under the panel. Could there be a master switch? If I knew how to upload, I would send you a pic.
