Have you read your Liberty's owners manual?
I believe it spells it all out. If memory serves it suggests keeping the trailer weight under 5000, tongue weight under 750 lbs, and trailer length under 25 feet.
If you are over the suggested length it is by a few inches and a boat is much steadier than a travel trailer. As long as YOU are comfortable towing it, I wouldn't worry about the vehicle.
