Short shaft or long shaft

Can anyone tell me if my 1978 Evinrude 140hp is a long shaft or short shaft model #140883C needing to buy parts but cant tell witch it is.

Measure from inside bottom of bracket (piece that sits on or near transom top) to the AV plate. 15"= short, 20"=long, 25"-extra long.

Never saw a short shaft 140, except for a few racing engines, which that is not. Looks like a 20" (long) to me.
