I like the horizontal side bunks. Makes windy day and busy ramp loading easier by guiding the boat straighter in my opinion. I had the vertical when I got her and dumped them after loading crosswise a few times and having to back up and try again. No probs with the horizontal.

I've got the roller guide-on rails. You can partially see them in the pic above.....they take care of all side-to-side motion(from wind/waves).
