I have a 18 ft bass buggy and when I shake it out of water you can hear water in the front part of the Pontoons yet there is no port on top . Question is should there be water in there for any reason

Should I drill and plug it with a drain plug sence there is no top hole in them.

What will that achieve?

Water will still get in the same way it is now. If there is water in the toon, you have a leak.

Your 18 footer should have 2 chambers in each toon. Look very carefully at the tops of your toons, between the deck and the pontoon,
each chamber should have a plug on top. old jim

You will need to bring it into a professional who can pressure test the pontoons to finds out the leak....a leaking pontoon is never a good thing. If it's in the front that doesn't have a test port, he will probably drill the bottom to drain it then weld on a bung so he can pressure test...need to make sure they are experienced in welding aluminum.
